Chef R provided a special Valentine’s Day service for a lucky couple in Kona last month. The menu included some very authentic specialties like Stewed Pork with Chinese Cabbage, Fried Kaui Shrimp in Tamarind Sauce and Spicy Southern Style Curry Short Ribs.

Fresh summer rolls in steamed rice paper wrap with local mango (seasonal availability), organic vegetables and herbs. Served with homemade dipping sauce and garnished with crushed peanuts.

Water chestnuts wrapped in bacon and roasted with a glaze of our
house sweet chili sauce.


Fresh Kaui Shrimp fried to perfection and then
tossed in a sweet and sour house-made tamarind reduction.

Hand-made-from-scratch southern-style spicy curry paste
simmered with short-ribs.
